Energy consumption of the different kinds of irrigation equipment
Within the context of the irrigation aspect of the EDEN project (from sensor to display: Spatial data Warehouses used to evaluate the use of energy on the farms), ARVALIS - a crop research institution, the Chamber of Agriculture of the Haute-Garonne region, IRSTEA, the CACG (Hillside Management Organization in Gascony) and the Chamber of Agriculture of the Lot et Garonne region, with the financial support of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Adour-Garonne water agency and the Regional Council have been working on the level of consumption and energy used by irrigation installations located in the Haute-Garonne and Lot-et-Garonne regions between 2012 and 2016.
