Uniram Hybrid™
The missing link between the range of inserted drippers and that of in-line drippers
Farmers and growers who are committed to drip irrigation are well aware of this: that these two groups, which are inserted or self-piercing drippers (to be pushed into a punched orifice on the LDPE drip tube) and the integrated drippers (already incorporated into the tube at the factory), both have their advantages and disadvantages, and thus they have their supporters and critics… The inserted drippers are ideal for customising and localising the amounts applied (via tubing and stakes positioned at a distance in the place where the crop requires water) while the more rigid integrated drippers offer superb and a reliability that enhances the profitability. With its new innovate product, Uniram Hybrid, Netafim is bringing together the best of both worlds. The Uniram Hybrid lines are of the self-regulating type drippers although they are also equipped with conical nipple connections enabling the subsequent assembly of systems for localising the water applications (tubing + stakes or others): the reliability is immense while there is still an elevated level of customisation. It could be of benefit to a demanding tree nursery-producer or the horticulturist or a market-gardener constantly looking for ways of achieving the ultimate optimisation (an anti-drain version will also be available, and, as with the self-regulating type of inserted drippers, it will also allow the user to take advantage of pulse irrigation techniques.
