On Wednesday 3 December at 11:00 am on the ground floor of the Paysalia exhibition, the EIA will be organising a conference on water management in green cities. The main topic of the conference will be: ‘Optimising irrigation in urban areas: examples from Sabadell and Paris’.
Speakers and content of the conference:
- Eric Porcher, Head of the Automatic Watering Workshop at Paris City Hall, who will speak on the topic of ‘Irrigating Paris’s new urban forests in a highly constrained environment: the contribution of connected watering, fine monitoring and efficient water use‘.
- Joan Güell, Chief of Parks and Gardens for Sabadell City Council from 2017 to 2025 and current Chief of the city’s green belt, will speak on the topic of ‘Urban landscape irrigation in drought situations: smart management of treated wastewater reuse‘.
- Bruno Molle (EIA Executive Advisor) and Michael Fayaud (Chief Executive Officer, Urbasense): ‘Irrigation efficiency in urban landscapes: definition and discussion around performance criteria‘.
After the conference, at 12:00, we invite you to join us for a drink at the EIA stand (4F106) in the ‘Watering Village’.
The conference will take place in person and be conducted in French. A recording with an English translation will be sent to registered attendees after the event and made available on our YouTube channel.
