Despite very difficult circumstances, professionals from the agricultural sector once again attended the SIMA show determined to be both realistic and optimistic about the future. We had decent weather, which was quite unexpected for the time of year, and there was an interesting range of profiles and projects as far as the visitors were concerned, looking for technological solutions. As proof of the growing interest shown in many countries for the new products presented at SIMA, this show once again received a very large number of overseas visitors.

Nevertheless, there were very few irrigation professionals (their number has been decreasing from year to year) and their stands were relegated to one of the outlying halls. This was a source of regret for many people, who complained about the high cost of exhibiting at the stands when the results were so disappointing.
