Lindsay is excited to announce the availability of the new Zimmatic 9500DS drop span option available on new pivots and for retrofit installation on existing Zimmatic 9500 machines. When added to a new or existing Zimmatic pivot system, the 9500DS option gives growers the ability to irrigate more acres in an imperfected field where an obstruction (e.g., buildings, trees, utility poles, etc.) exists on the outer edge of the pivot circle. These units may be ordered as standard equipment on new pivot orders and for aftermarket sales.
The 9500DS includes the most advanced features of any drop span in the industry, including unmatched ease of use and speed of operation, as well as the following differentiating features.
The unique Zimmatic drop span design was engineered to enable the quickest detachment and reattachment speed in the industry; spans can be dropped in about 8 minutes and re-attached in around 6 minutes, all without any tools.
With these differentiating features, growers now have the best solution in the industry to quickly and easily drop obstructed outer spans, irrigate, and then re-attach the outer spans; allowing the pivot to pick up more acres while avoiding permanent in-field obstacles.
