How does a pivot irrigation system work?
Center-pivot irrigation consists of a self-driven watering device that irrigates grasslands and other crops. It is different from other devices insofar as it operates in a circle or in sectors. Fixed at one end, the pivot rotates in a circle around a central point. They have spans with sprinkler tubes that are mounted on a steel structure supported by moving towers. These have a motorized system. They move around the central unit to guarantee water management in an arid zones, regardless of the size of the field.
