Stephanie Clark promoted to IA strategic partnerships and business development vice president

The Irrigation Association is excited to announce that Stephanie Clark, CEM, has been promoted to strategic partnerships and business development vice president. Clark joined the IA in 2020 as the director of business development.

In this new role, Clark will oversee the management and expansion of the IA’s partner relationships, focusing on developing strong alliances that help expand the IA’s and the industry’s strategic initiatives. She will operate as a sales leader, building on strategic relationships that contribute to the overall IA growth plan, while developing approaches that ensure strategic advancement of vital partners. In addition to working with existing partners, Clark will create and maintain processes to secure new partnerships and seamlessly integrate those brought in via all growth channels.

“We are excited to have Stephanie take on this new role” said Natasha Rankin, MBA, CAE, CEO of the Irrigation Association. “Stephanie is a consummate professional with a proven ability to convert business objectives into well-articulated and value-driven programs. In her short time at the IA, Stephanie has shown her ability to establish, nurture and expand relationships with industry companies and allied organizations. Stephanie’s expanded focus further demonstrates to our members and the industry that the work we do is toward the growth of the irrigation industry, with a commitment to sharing the positive impact that irrigation has on our communities, recreation and global security.”

In addition to her new strategic partnership development role, Clark’s new position will expand her responsibilities beyond overseeing the Irrigation Show expo to include meeting planning and management. She will also retain her previous responsibilities including membership, sponsorships and magazine advertising.

“I am excited to take on this newly launched position at the IA,” said Clark. “Our association is poised for vibrant growth, with a tremendous opportunity to expand our strategic alliances. I look forward to working with partners that share similar values and a desire to develop programs that provide opportunities to share the positive impact of irrigation and bring attention to the impact that irrigation companies make.”
