In May 2023 Sentek farewelled our beloved founder, Peter Buss. Peter delivered his final presentation at Head
Office, and the Head Office staff took him out to lunch.
Having founded Sentek in 1991 in the South Australian Riverland, Peter globally propagated the importance of measuring
and managing soil moisture, and his passion for this subject was reflected in his work, his colleagues, his conference attendees, family and friends.
We thank Peter for his 32 years of dedication to Sentek, and wish all the best for him in his welldeserved retirement. Sentek and our dealers will dearly miss his leadership, innovation and friendly face.
