Irrigreen has launched the Smart Drip System with Netafim, expanding its platform from turf irrigation into garden beds and landscaped areas.
The system combines Netafim’s industry-leading drip hardware (widely used in precision agriculture) with Irrigreen’s irrigation monitoring and automation platform.
Traditional drip irrigation tends to be reactive — leaks, clogs, and pressure issues often go unnoticed until plants start dying or water bills spike. The Smart Drip System is designed to surface those problems in real time and stop abnormal watering before it becomes a service issue, with several upgrades to traditional drip:
- Leak detection and abnormal flow alerts
- Clog detection at the emitter level
- Real-time water pressure monitoring with automatic adjustment
- Automatic shutdown when irregular watering is detected
For contractors, that means fewer reactive service calls and the ability to manage turf and bed irrigation from one platform. Irrigreen has been steadily expanding its tools for irrigation pros, including training, marketing support, and contractor incentives.
