Tricolflex Accelerates the Transformation of Its Manufacturing Infrastructure

A French manufacturer of technical PVC pipes since 1957, TRICOFLEX (EXEL Industries Group, €38.2 million in revenue, 174 employees) is accelerating the transformation of its manufacturing infrastructure with a roadmap through 2030 centered on three key priorities: resource management and material competitiveness, industrial performance through AI and automation, and
disruptive innovation.

The company is investing 2 million euros in 2026—equivalent to 5% of its revenue—to modernize its materials workshop, adapt its 14 production lines to the growing use of recycled plastics, and deploy artificial intelligence in its processes.

Specifically, TRICOFLEX has implemented a machine learning system on one of its production lines to analyze manufacturing parameters in real time and simultaneously optimize hose quality, productivity, and waste reduction. AI is also being leveraged to enhance customer relations through COBOT IT, a configurator that centralizes the 1,000 product references in the catalog and provides well-reasoned technical recommendations.

In terms of sustainability, TRICOFLEX aims to incorporate 50% recycled PVC by 2030 (up from 26% today, or 2,200 metric tons). The company already has an on-site recycling facility and has incorporated recycled materials into 31% of its product line, including TRICOGREEN® (80% recycled PVC, LNE-certified).

By 2030, TRICOFLEX aims to achieve sales growth of more than 30%.
