Alba Perez, a young farmer of 29 years of age, bought a 200-hectare farm in the Albacete region of Spain. Although the farm was planted with vines, a crop which is very widespread in this region of Spain, Alba decided to diversify into crops of high added value: almonds and pistachio nuts.
