“The confidence placed in me fully confirms my ideas, decisions and the direction we have chosen. When I look back over the year I feel a great sense of achievement and I look ahead with the same motivation.”
A new team in place for implementing the 2017-2020 action plan.
Pierre-Alain Madelaine is supported by a committee composed of five active members and a representative of the associate members: Philippe Buffière (Arro-Limousin), Vice-President “for the south”, Mickaël Hebert (Etablissements Perdreau), Vice-Président “for the north”, Dominique Ravéraud (G2E idfa), secretary, Nicolas de Brignac (N2B Arrosage), treasurer, Grégor Hublart (Etablissement Hublart), deputy treasurer and Gaëtan Lebot (Irrigaronne), associate members’ representative.
The new action plan submitted by Pierre-Alain Madelaine focusses on continuing with the existing initiatives. Communication, by promoting the benefits and advantages of irrigating green spaces within the current environmental context and the “automatic watering is therapeutic” publicity campaign will endorse this message. Training, via the courses and apprenticeships organised. Providing the members with daily support via the advisory service. Being united, because a small sector such as irrigation needs a cohesion policy. Being transparent, because our European colleagues and counterparts in agricultural irrigation have the same problems as the Synaa members.
The 2016 Synaa conference is a resounding success.
Synaa’s national conference was held in Paris on 24th and 25th November. Most of the members travelled to the city and came along to the general assembly to listen to speakers of the very highest quality chosen for the occasion. Many topics were discussed with the aim of providing managers with the relevant tools: social networking, neuro-linguistic programming to improve their communication skills and various social issues relating to the management of their personnel. Those attending were also able to enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
