On January 28th , the organisers of JDC communicated their decision to postpone the JdC Garden Trends, which was to be held initially on 7 th – 9 th of April, and to take the time to analyze the evolution of the situation before coming back with more information and new dates.
Strengthened by the support of their partners, suppliers and distributors, they decided to postpone the JdC Garden Trends, to now be held on 2 nd to 4 th of June, 2021 at Parc Chanot in Marseille. These new dates should allow them to meet the conditions necessary to ensure the holding of the event. The JdC Garden Trends will be held on dates which are subject to the improvement in the sanitary situation and regulations of gatherings. The JdC Garden Trends show has proposed to become a model show for the resumption of exhibitions and events in France. The organisers of the event have submitted an appropriate protocol to the authorities concerned and are committed to getting back to participants no later than April 16th, after they obtain the necessary authorization to run the event from the 2 nd to the 4 th of June. Meanwhile, all the participants can start sourcing new products thanks to the new "product base" posted on the JdC Garden Trends website. This database is accessible to all Garden retailers and already lists over 1,500 new products from the 320 exhibiting suppliers of JdC Garden Trends. The JdC Garden Trends, at the beginning of June, will be a key moment in the listing period: that for finalizing in real life the earlier virtual exchanges, the opportunity for buyers to make further discoveries to integrate into their collections, and that for validations and final negotiations.
