In spite of the coronavirus, 2020 has been a good year for the profession in France. After the lockdown, business returned to normal in quite a vigorous manner and the installers worked hard to catch up on their backlog. They are all working on their own, though, and there were not many events being held nor other interactions where they could meet and exchange ideas. However, the important thing is that the work is there.

The year 2021 remains full of uncertainty and we fear that the pandemic will lead to a decline in public procurement contracts. We hope that this will be offset by increased business in the private and golfing sectors, which are quite buoyant at the moment, with plenty of upgrades or retrofits. Only time will tell.

We have already started preparing for the Paysalia event, which will be held from 20th November to 2nd December 2021. The irrigation village will be even more impressive than previous years and Synaa will be welcoming you to its stand, just as it has done every other year. There should be a good attendance at the show after all these months without any trade fairs or major events.
