Extension of the Rochefort Golf Course and a complete overhaul of its irrigation system

The Rochefort Golf Course, a 9-hole course at the present time, is about to double in size. Nine additional holes are under construction, which will make it an eighteen-hole course, built in response to the growing popularity of golf over these last few years. A new irrigation system, with a soil moisture sensor and weather station, is being installed. Furthermore, two water reservoirs are under construction, which will supplement the existing water storage facility. They will allow for the storage of the water pumped in the winter from the Charras Canal, a tributary of the Charente, and its reuse in the summer to irrigate the Golf Course.
