UMC® 765™ Series Gearboxes

UMC’s new 765™ Series gearboxes are our largest, most durable gearboxes without bronze gears.

They are typically used for the most extreme conditions and applications such as a corner systems, lateral carts, heavy towers, and machines that run high annual hours. They are direct replacements for their predecessors the 760-U and 760-UV and feature several improvements that enhance load capacity, gear life and seal life. The primary improvements on the 765 series are as follows: The use of UMC’s new high torque gear material which increases load capacity while minimizing gear wear. The use of a patent pending internal diaphragm that greatly reduces pressure build up and water accumulation inside the gearbox during operation. This increases the life of bearings and seals.  This new product is available in both a 50:1 and 52:1 gear ratio and comes standard with UMC’s other innovative features such as: UMC’s exclusive sealing system featuring cartridge input and output seals to keep oil in and contaminants such as dirt and water out, a dual ended input shaft eliminating the need to stock right and left-hand gearboxes, a positive wheel register to evenly displace load and aid in wheel installation and a universal 13 bolt mounting pattern for easy installation on all pivot brands.
