Also the energy supply has been given new life: With a larger solar panel and a more powerful battery, the new Rainstar models enable longer operating times.

On the electronics side as well, the optionally available irrigation computer ECOSTAR 6000 offers the perfect foundation for simple and effective control of the new Rainstar E series. The electronics guarantee precise regulation of the retraction speed and therefore optimal precision for the specified irrigation intensity. With the GPS-supported application “SmartRain” for smartphones and tablets, whether in the field, at work or at home, the user remains informed of the current status of his systems via live updates and can easily intervene in the processes at any time and make any optimizations. Even the soil can be monitored with help from the app. The user can enter current data into the system, such as the moisture content or composition of the soil, to gain insights into the irrigation management. Status updates are sent by SMS or email to store contacts. The app is available for free on all mobile iOS and Android devices.
