Nelson’s R2000FX sprinkler combines proven Rotator® Technology with off-axis plate motion to deliver low pressure operation with unparalleled radius of throw.
It was first introduced with the 24° blue (high-flow 400-680 lph) and gray (low-flow 225-340 lph) plates. These have proven to be great for open field crops such as potatoes. The wide throw allows for less sprinklers making for a more economical system. There are 3 new plate offerings for the R2000FX: 7° Low -angle plate, 450-560 lph, for undertree irrigation, under vine irrigation, over crop under canopy irrigation / frost protection. 12° Mid-angle plate, 225-400 lph, for undertree irrigation and frost protection. 15° Mid-angle plate, 225-400 lph, for undertree irrigation and frost protection. Flow control nozzles are standard in all R2000FX Rotators. This makes for higher whole farm uniformity due to consistent flow at each sprinkler, even on sloping ground. This product has proven to be plug resistant and reliable in high bicarbonate or iron water conditions. All models operate from 1.5-2.5 bar. The R2000FX truly is a water and energy saving sprinkler.
