Rain Bird : XLR Series Water Jets

Three available models and multiple nozzles allow for customized throw ranges. When watering large areas like sports turf, agricultural fields and feed yards, efficient, long-range rotors can save an eye-opening amount of water, money and time. By installing just a few of Rain Bird’s new XLR Series Water Jets, users can enjoy more efficient irrigation that makes a significant positive impact on their bottom lines. Because Rain Bird constructed its XLR Series Water Jets with durable, lightweight materials, the rotors require less force to initiate or change motion. The intelligently-designed deflector, barrel and nozzles operate with less water pressure, evenly distributing the right amount of water while minimizing wasteful runoff. A self-adjusting automatic brake system helps the rotors maintain a constant rotation speed, while a dynamic jet-breaker correctsuneven distribution that can happen in low-water-pressure situations. All three XLR models feature part- and full-circle operation. The XLR24 model has a fixed, 24° trajectory and nine available nozzles for a throw range of 28 to 54 meters). With a fixed, 44° trajectory and nine available nozzles, the XLR44 model can throw water from 26 to 53 meters. Users can adjust the XLR ADJ model’s trajectory from 15° to 45° for the ultimate in versatility. Nine available nozzles for this model range in size from 12 to 28 millimeters.
