Covid-19 : Innov-Agri forced to abandon its 2020 edition by prefectural decision

"Innov-Agri will not take place this year due to an administrative decision. "The organizers of the benchmark outdoor event in the agricultural world have just learned that they must give up the preparation of Innov-Agri 2020", which was to be held from September 8 to 10.

The ax fell when "the Innov-Agri and NGPA group teams were mobilized 300% for the opening (…) despite the delay and despite the doubts". "Everything had been done, including the sanitary measures adapted to the Covid-19 pandemic, to meet the expectations of visitors, like those of exhibitors," explain the organizers.

The latter are subject to the decision of the Prefect of the Center Val-de-Loire region, who "ultimately does not authorize the holding of large gatherings, even outdoors", because of "the detection of clusters in the Loiret department" pushing " the authorities not to take any risk of seeing the virus circulate even more ”.

"Our determination to support the economic rebound in the agricultural world is stronger than our disappointment," says Gérard Julien, president of the NGPA group. We have already mobilized all the digital skills of our group, a leader in this field, to offer new alternatives for connecting with exhibitors and farmers. "
