Rain Bird Introduces New QF Dripline Header –The Industry’s First Pre-Fabricated, Fully Integrated Flexible Dripline Header

Robust, flexible header installs in a minutes, eliminates the need to cut and assemble dripline headers on site with PE, clamps saddle, fittings, adapters and tape.

Rain Bird has introduced a significant innovation to speed the installation of drip irrigation system – new Rain Bird® QF dripline Header. QF Header saves a significant amount of time and money and reduces hassles by eliminating the need to build a PE header. It allows for much faster and more precise installations of both on-surface and sub-surface dripline grids.

QF Dripline Header’s patent –pending design features robust pre-installed fittings (compatible with any manufacturer 16-17 mm dripline) that rotate 360° and incorporate a protective ring to prevent barb damage and ensure a proper seal. Available in 30 m self –dispensing coil of 25 mm tubing and with fitting spacing of either 30 cm or 45 cm, the flexibility of the QF header makes it ideal for smaller planter beds and landscape designs that include sharp curves. The precise spacing of the fittings ensures that the dripline grid is uniform which is critical to efficient watering.

“We install the QF Dripline Header 3 times faster than a site build header constructed with PE pipe, clamps saddle, fittings and tape” said Christelle Scepi, Rain Bird Sales Product manager. “Simply roll out and make one cut to length – no more measuring or taping required”.

The flexibility of the QF Header makes it easy to roll into place and stake down – even with curved landscape features. QF Header can be used as either a supply or exhaust fittings and connects to the zone using our 25 mm compression fittings with adapters, and insert fittings with clamps.

Do not hesitate to combine QF Dripline Header with the new XFCV Dripline with Heavy Duty Check Valve, the most effective on-surface dripline for elevation changes.

Rain Bird’s patent pending heavy duty 0.24 bars check valve keeps the dripline charges in elevation changes up to 2.4 m, where no other dripline will work.

Keeping the water in the dripline at all times helps for better uniformity of irrigating the plants throughout the entire zone. The check valve also helps to prevent over-watering at the low point in the zone, avoiding puddling from water draining from the dripline.

It accepts Rain Bird Lock Type fittings, XF Dripline Barbed Insert Fittings and other 17 mm barbed insert fittings. Conserve water and save money! Use XFCV Dripline with Heavy-Duty Check Valve.
